The Helios distillery in Okinawa, Japan, may be better known for producing rum and awamori (a rice-based spirit), but now it is equally renowned in the world of whisky. Kura the whisky is a blended malt. It has aged minimum for 3 years in ex-bourbon casks and finish in Japanese rum barrels.
